Industry professionals are needed to volunteer as Advisory Board members for several local community college training programs. The functions of these boards include reviewing each program’s curriculum to ensure industry standards are being taught, reviewing the equipment and tool list, discussing maintenance plans, assessing programmatic needs and acting as a liaison between industry and the school.
Advisory Board Members are needed for the following schools and programs:
Bishop State (Welding and Electrical Technology)
Faulkner State (Welding and Industrial Maintenance)
Reid State (Welding and Industrial Maintenance)
Jefferson Davis (Welding)
