The CGIA Safety Member of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding safety performance of CGIA industrial owners and contractors. Awards are based on site statistics and an essay describing unique, innovative or special components of their Safety Management Program that have contributed to instilling a positive and effective culture of safety. Current member companies of CGIA who sponsored the 2022 General Membership Meeting or submitted an application fee were eligible to participate. The winning company received a special plaque and had the opportunity to provide a short safety presentation at the meeting.
