Part-time Workforce Development Instructor – NCCER Construction Craft
This position is a part-time position not to exceed 19 hours/week. Classes are held based on demand and are expected to be held during the normal work week (days or evenings). Weekend classes may also be available. Depending on course type, industry experiences in the following NCCER related areas are applicable: Core Curriculum, Safety, Construction, Heavy Highway Construction, Maritime, Welding, Pipefitting, Project Management, Heavy Equipment Operator, Industrial Maintenance, and/or Electrical
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of full-time work experience within the skilled trades industry.
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications:
- NCEER Authorized Instructor
- Two (2) years supervisory experience in the related field.
- Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related construction discipline
Salary– $35/hour or as stated by grant.
Part-time Workforce Development Instructor – OSHA Safety
This position is for 10- or 30-hour OSHA safety courses for Construction and/or General Industry. Classes are held based on demand and are expected to be held during the normal work week (days or evenings). Weekend classes may also be available.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of three (3) years of full-time work experience within the respective industry.
- OSHA authorized to teach the respective safety course.
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualification:
- Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution in a related construction discipline
Salary– up to $35/hour or as stated per Grant
